About the Founder

Malcolm Chen (then 70 years old) founded Ageless Bicyclists Ltd in 2015 through a leap of faith in memory of late mother, to carry on the legacy and values she had lived out.

Malcolm is passionate about developing this social enterprise with integrity, honesty and openness and the mission is to enhance quality of life especially for different abilities and family with a lifestyle that embraces physical activity and an active healthy lifestyle, especially through recreational, experiential inclusive cycling and arts.

On 17th October 2023, Malcolm was awarded the prestigious People of Good Award during the President’s Volunteerism & Philanthropy Awards 2023, held at the Istana.

According to the PVPA website, “the President’s Volunteerism & Philanthropy Awards recognises individuals and groups that have achieved excellence in giving. These awards represent the highest honour for giving in the community and are conferred by the President of the Republic of Singapore.”

I'm a stroke survivor. I really enjoy myself and benefitted in the program. The trikes cater for stroke survivors with different capabilities. What I like most is that it equipped with safety measures like belt, foot strap, etc. I thought I will not able to ride 2 wheels anymore after my stroke. But I did it with initial help! It was a fun filled meaningful and inspiring rode with Ageless Cyclist team during SG ACTIVE prepara-Olympics games 2021 for Alexavier. Cycling not only brings out his enthusiastic in sports and also teaches him about teamwork, responsibilities and social etiquette. Also strengthening his body and improve his body immunity.
